Myanmar Bartenders AssociationTun Tun Aye is one of the founders and elected as Vice President of Myanmar Bartenders Association. Myanmar Bartenders Association MBA was founded in 2015 with Myanmar bartenders, restaurants and bar owners, and supporting companies with the support of Myanmar Restaurant Association MRA.
Tun organized training programme and bartending demonstration for promoting bartending skills of Myanmar bartenders and served as judge for local and regional bartenders competition since 2008. He got Wine and Spirits Education Trsut WEST Level 2 in Wine Certificates and pursuing continuous learning in Wine and Spirits. Exclusive Inteview about Foreign Liquor Policy with Eleven Broadcasting
Myanmar authorities have announced they will ban liquor retailers from selling imported brands as part of attempts to tackle illicit alcohol in the country.
Members of several government departments held a meeting in late September where they told holders of FL-12 licences that they would no longer be allowed to sell imported liquor. Authorities are taking action after the Department of Consumer Affairs had received two complaints regarding FL-12 holders selling counterfeit alcohol.
